Bucees
My husband and I are always sure to stop at a Buc-ee’s to get gas, whenever that is possible. The lower gas prices help to attract us, but the dominant reason is that we like to be recognized. The staff at the local Buc-ee’s always recognize us, and are pleasant every time we come into the store. It is a company attribute that is no longer seen in convenience stores—familiarity and recognition. It reminds me of the older drug stores that used to exist in every small-town in rural America.
Every customer was known by name and even appreciated! I would not mind if staffers at other stores showed me the same respect that the employees at Buc-ee’s show me. Basically, I hope to see more of these stores spring up all over the United States. The small-town feel of each location is a formula for success in these confusing and busy times.
